Dr. Allison Dozeman
DPM, AACFAS
Dr. Dozeman was born and spent her childhood in Grand Rapids, MI. Her family moved to central Illinois during her junior high and high school years. She graduated from Wheaton College (IL) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and minor in Spanish. During her college years, Dr. Dozeman was a member of the Women’s basketball and soccer teams. She earned a doctor of podiatric medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL.
After graduating Dr. Dozeman attended her top choice surgical residency program at Legacy Health/Kaiser Permanente in Portland, Oregon. She spent her three-year residency training in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery with a focus on Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Dozeman specializes in sports medicine, reconstructive surgery and trauma. She is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Dozeman is Board Qualified in both foot and rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Dozeman offers appointments at our Holland South and South Haven locations.
Dr. Dozeman and her husband, Joel, live in Holland and have two children. Dr. Dozeman enjoys being active and spending time outdoors camping, hiking, cross country skiing, snowboarding and cycling.
